【商業英語】我好忙 – 道地英文怎麼說？

如果想表達「由朝做到晚」，則可以說成 “I work from dawn till dusk.”

Dawn是黎明時分，dusk則是黃昏。“from dawn till dusk”意思就是從早到晚。

一直沒停過手，一直工作，英文可以說 “on the go”。

I have been on the go since this morning.

（我由今天早上開始工作，一直沒有停下來。）

英文的說法: I’m up to my neck in work，意思是工作都堆到頸那麼高了，形容很生動，跟「忙到唞唔到氣」意思相近。

I’m really up to my neck in this project.

(我忙這個項目忙得透不過氣來。)

不說工作堆到頸那麼高，再高一點堆到眼/耳那麼高也可以︰

I’m up to my eyes in research this week.

Amy is up to her ears in her work.

I am swamped with work now. 我現在忙得不可開交。

還有其他說法:

I 'm snowed under with work right now, so I will be late coming home.

He worked like a dog all day to finish the design.
