1. inform VS notify
inform 和notify用法: 均有[通知] 的意思
A. notify
用法: notify 較為formal (正式), 例如: 律師通知客戶、政府通告百姓等，通常用在一個團體(例如公司、機構等)告訴一個人或上司通知下屬。語氣較Inform嚴肅，通常用於一些較重要事情。
例句: Our company will notify customers of the new products. 我們公司會通知客人有關新產品。
例句: Please notify me of the new arrangement. 請通知我新的安排。
B. inform
用法: inform 有tell 的意思，用於講述事實，常與preposition of / about 連用，例如: inform someone / somebody About / OF something ，用於告知親朋好友、同事、下屬、同學等。
例句: Why didn't you inform the police immediately? 為何你不立即通知警察?
I'll have to inform her of Joe's wedding. 我會通知她有關JOE的婚禮。
2. target VS goal

Goal 用來表示[工作計劃 / 公司/ 機構的長期目標]
例如: It is important for a CEO to set up corporate goals. 行政總裁建立企業目標是十分重要的。
例句: You should be setting goals that revolve around your development in the workplace. 你應該建立圍繞你職場發展的目標。

target 有[具體的指標/ 數字] ，例如: 公司的銷售目標，財政目標等
例句: Achieving your sales target is a primary goal of all sales organizations. 達到你的銷售目標是所有銷售機構的一個主要目標。
The manager wants to achieve the annual gross profit target of USD 1 Billion. 經理常達到每年毛利目標1億美元。
